The Palm Beacher and the Jupiter Magazine are currently holding a photo contest where the winning photos will be showcased in a feature on “the paradise of the Palm Beaches“ that will run in their January 2015 edition. The goal is to show their readers and visitors of the region why the local area is such a fabulous place to live, work, and play.

They are looking for beautiful photos that are shot in the warm and tropical South Florida towns of Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, and their surrounding areas. These photos can be of anything that relates to the local area such as festivals, food, wildlife, pets, sports, people, attractions, shopping, etc. but must show off the area as the South Florida paradise that it truly is. Your images can be taken with anything from a professional level camera to the camera on your phone as long as your images are captivating and high quality. The contest is open to amateurs and professionals alike, and altered, enhanced and manipulated photos will be accepted.

The deadline for this outstanding contest will be November the 10th and all submissions should be emailed to the managing editor Jennifer Tormo at Jennifer@gulfstreammediagroup.com. Be sure all your photos are high-resolution and try and send the largest files that you have. If your image can’t fit in an email please feel free to upload it to a file sharing service and email Jennifer the link. Please attach a one to two sentence caption along with your image describing the who, what, when, where, and why of it. You may submit as many images as you would like but remember by submitting it you have given them the right to print it in their January 2015 issue or any promotional materials related to it.
