Jupiter Community High School

The Jupiter High School also known as the Jupiter Community High School is situated in Jupiter, Florida and is the northern most high school in Palm Beach. The Jupiter Community High School has over 2000 students enrolled in it. The mascot for the school is the Warrior and the colors are green and gold. The Jupiter Community High School founded in the 1960’s for students of the town of Jupiter and in 2001 construction for a new high school started and in 2003 the over $56 million dollar new high school opened with the ability to house all students on one campus for the first time in 20 years. The new high school is situated on 12 acres and is a 338,000 square foot complex housing 60 classrooms, 28 laboratories, and a new and improved athletic facility. The auditorium seats 850 and the gymnasium seats about 1500 people. Jupiter Community School is host to over 100 registered clubs  and student organizations with many that have gone on to compete and win at State and National levels such as rugby, flag football, debate, the competitive robotics team, and the nationally ranked Table Tennis Team. The school also offers 30 AP courses, with about 100 total AP classes.

Square Grouper Tiki Bar at Castaways Marina

The Square Grouper Tiki Bar at Castaways Marina is a fabulous outside bar that features an incredible warm and tropical atmosphere that makes The Square Grouper one of the country’s most desirable watering holes. The Tiki Bar is where Alan Jackson’s video of “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” with Jimmy Buffet was filmed. The marina features 19 boat slips and hosts several annual fishing tournaments that include the Grand Slam/Castaways KDM, the Jupiter Billfish Tournament, and the Blue Water Babes Tournament. The Square Grouper also hosts a variety of charity fundraisers. Local bands play live music six days a week and sometimes you can even be graced by the industry’s most famous artists.

The Menu features several great items at incredible prices that include Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hamburger, Chicken Wings, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Hot Dog, and Grilled Cheese Minis with no item exceeding $7. There are numerous drink options at the Tiki Bar including several cocktail and frozen drink options and around 40 choices of bottled beer as well as about 10 choices of wine by the bottle.

Dive Bar Restaurant

The Dive BarDive Bar Restaurant is a unique waterfront and marina-front restaurant in lovely downtown Jupiter. The view is absolutely spectacular. The establishment is in a harbor marina. It has a robust, open-air setting popular with both locals and tourists.

Dive Bar Restaurant is, as its owners like to say, “everything that’s South Florida…” It has a delicious menu and serves a fresh raw bar. The cuisine is Asian-American cuisine, and some of the freshest fish and ingredients are available. The restaurant also has a fantastic sushi bar. It is open for lunch and is an ideal place for a business meeting or romantic getaway.

Check out one of Jupiter’s best waterfront places! The name may say “Dive Bar,” but this is a very high-end place.

Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Rooney’s Public House

Every effort and expense has been paid to ensure that you will enjoy a true Irish experience when you enter the Rooney’s Public House. The Bar features the best in Irish whiskies and spirits, Rooney’s Old Irish Ale, the finest Guinness you will find and a variety of other beers and ales. The menu also features several traditional Irish meals that are made with the highest quality ingredients and true Irish flavor. Rooney’s also features live music most nights to provide the traditional atmosphere of Ireland’s own music pubs. In fact, the Pub its self was brought from Ireland and constructed in Florida. Most of what you see in the pub was taken from old buildings in Ireland and used in the construction to give an old world setting.

The menu features numerous fabulous choices that include a variety of soups and salads, numerous great sandwiches, Shepherd’s Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish and Chips, and so many more options to choose from.

One defining aspect of Rooney’s is obviously not Irish. You will find banners, posters, photographs, and even a few trophies’ that let the new customer know that the Steelers are a large part of the pubs atmosphere.
