Palm Beach County’s Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that has established a bountiful thrift store in the Jupiter area. The Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store features used clothing, furniture, books and a variety of personal items for resale. All the proceeds from thrift-store sales benefit building efforts throughout Palm Beach County.
All of the items for sale at the thrift store have been donated by supporters of Habitat for Humanity. In addition to raising money for Habitat for Humanity, the thrift store also does the community and environment a favor by providing a place for repurposing and exchanging gently used materials and other items. Residents who want to donate new or used items, and businesses that have overstock or discontinued products, can contact the thrift store to schedule a pickup. Items the thrift store accepts include clothing, shoes, books, electronics, furniture, home accessories, fabric / window treatments, dishes, light fixtures, ceiling fans and appliances.
