Many people know and love Brooke, but for those of you who don’t know her let me tell you a little about Brooke Thabit who is a Jensen Beach High School Senior and a cherished part of the Treasure Coast Surfing Community. During Labor Day weekend she experienced a tragic accident where she severely did damage to her neck. Currently she has paralysis from below the waist and is in dire need of transportation to Atlanta, however this much needed transport has been delayed due to several complications. Brooke’s parents both work for the School Board and are taking preparations to transplant the entire family and move to Atlanta for no less than a 6 month period.
Brooke is a very different and special type of kid that everyone talks about having the greatest attitude and the kindest heart. She constantly devotes her time to volunteering in her community with charities like Surfers for Autism, the Special Olympics, and so much more. Today, she and her family are in need of our assistance with the cost of rehabilitation as well as any and all of the love and prayer that you can support her with.
